Cang Toys CT-LONGYAN 01 Dinobots Shuraking Stegsarow Snarl

Probably the best all around figure from Cang Toys MP Volcanicus. While it's transformation is quite fiddly and complex (especially into leg mode), every modern is solid, detailed and feels very thought through (compared to some later in the set). Every mode is as great as the next but the Dino/Alt mode with its great articulation for a beast mode is my favourite. My only real negative for Stegsarow is something he shares with his Cang Toys Dinobot siblings are his poor grip of his weapons. While the whip/box tabs into a solid slot on the back of his arm, the swords/guns tab on the inside of the hand can barely hold them (especially the big version of the swords). A minor gripe and I'm still really looking forward to completing the set.

I ordered this product kinda skeptical at first because I've never ordered anything from here before but I can 100% say that I am thoroughly pleased with what I got. Very well built and solid, excellent robot and dino mode. I look forward to ordering more from this website.

Snarl looks great and the metallic gold paint looks detailed on him.

I love this take on the Dinobots and what a strong start. This figure looks awesome in both forms. I did find the transformation challenging in the beginning but after a while it gets easier and you do get a great deal of satisfaction when completing it in either mode. I am hooked now and will definitely go for the full set.

This is a gorgeous figure, and will make a great centrepiece to any collection, even if you don't go in on the full set. The joints can support a wide array of poses, in both modes, though you'll most likely want to add some kind of support for some poses as his weight can make balancing him tricky. The transformation is a little on the fiddly side; if you've messed with other Cang Toys offerings, you'll know that their engineering is very precise, and as such if pieces aren't exactly where they're meant to be, then it can cause undue stress on tabs and connections. If you're careful and take your time, though, you shouldn't have any issues, and you'll also avoid the figure's one actual downside: some of those pointy bits (and there are MANY) can be a touch sharp! Otherwise, a wonderful addition to any collection.

Overall, the figure is very well designed with an inventive transformation. Some of the joints are tight but also some of the tabs. They have measured the figure so precisely but they forgot to account for the additional layers of paint being applied which alters the depth of some tabs slots or the thickness of the tabs. The transformation is so precise that you notice the difference created by the paint. Look forward to more figures from them.

Definitely a high quality product. The paint is amazing and it has a ridiculous amount of articulation. Would definitely recommend some silicone oil for some of the ratchets. The arm ratchets on my copy are incredibly stiff to the point I worry about breaking them. It also seems this reissue haa left stuff in the box. Just the one card, no large lenticular art piece, no red envelopes (which makes sense since it's not CNY). Overall, very happy and can't wait for the rest of the combiner.
